Day 1 – Thanda Sands Private Game Reserve

​Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed and privately transferred to the exclusive Thanda Sands Private Game Reserve. Depending on your arrival time, settle in with a refreshing welcome drink and a gourmet lunch. This afternoon, embark on your first thrilling evening game drive, tracking the Big Five as the sun sets over the African bush. Return to the lodge for a fine dining experience under the stars.

​Day 2 – Thanda Sands Private Game Reserve

​The day begins with a sunrise safari, guided by your expert ranger and tracker. After a hearty breakfast, the afternoon is yours to enjoy. Your day concludes with another exhilarating game drive, followed by an intimate boma dinner with traditional stories around the fire.

​After an early morning game drive and a final breakfast at Thanda, we journey to the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you will be immersed in breathtaking landscapes, from shimmering lakes to coastal dunes. Choose between a scenic boat cruise to spot hippos and crocodiles or an excursion to a nearby Zulu village for a unique cultural experience. Return to the lodge for a tasting menu dinner.

​Day 6 – A New Country: Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

​Today, our journey takes us across the border into Botswana. We return to our camp in the evening for a well-deserved rest.
