Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to every tour, package or custom itinerary booked with Norovari Tours [(Pty) Ltd, Palingdraai, Meerensee, Richards Bay, 3901. By paying a deposit you accept these terms.
1. Quotes and pricing.
Prices on our website are "from" prices in South African Rand (ZAR), per person sharing, and include VAT where applicable. Your final price depends on travel dates, group size, lodge availability and season, and is confirmed in a written quote. Single supplements apply. Quotes are valid for 14 days and subject to availability until a deposit is received.
2. Confirming your booking.
A booking is confirmed once we receive your deposit of 30% of the total and send you a written confirmation.
3. Balance.
The balance is due 60 days before departure. Bookings made within 60 days of departure must be paid in full. If the balance is not received on time, we may treat the booking as cancelled by you and apply the cancellation charges in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
4. What is included.
Each itinerary lists its inclusions. Unless stated, prices exclude international and domestic flights, visas, travel insurance, gratuities, personal purchases, optional activities and drinks outside the stated inclusions.
5. Price changes.
After confirmation, we only change the price for costs outside our control (for example new government levies, park fees or significant fuel or exchange-rate changes), and we will show you the reason. If an increase exceeds 10%, you may cancel for a full refund.
6. Changes by you.
We will try to accommodate changes to dates, names or lodges, subject to availability. Supplier charges and an amendment fee of R500 may apply. A date change within 60 days of departure may be treated as a cancellation.
7. Changes by us.
Safari itineraries can be affected by weather, road and park conditions, and wildlife movements. We may substitute a lodge, route or activity of equal or higher standard. If we must make a major change before departure, you may accept it, choose an alternative, or cancel for a full refund of amounts paid to us.
8. Travel documents, health and insurance.
You are responsible for valid passports, visas, vaccinations and travel health requirements. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical evacuation and personal belongings from the date you book.
9. Conduct and safety.
You agree to follow the instructions of guides and rangers, particularly on game drives and around wildlife. We may end the tour of any traveller whose behaviour endangers themselves or others, without refund.
10. Suppliers and liability.
We arrange services provided by independent suppliers (lodges, transport operators, activity providers) who are responsible for their own services. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected service, except where the law (including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008) does not allow liability to be limited.
11. Force majeure.
We are not liable for failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, civil unrest or government action. Where services are not delivered, we will refund amounts we are able to recover from suppliers.
12. Complaints.
Please raise any problem with your guide or with us immediately so we can fix it during your trip. Written complaints should reach us within 30 days of your return.
13. Governing law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
